Coaching Staff: Asst. Coach Justin Wrecke, Receivers

Justin Wrecke came to Northwest from Lawrence Free State High School in 2004 and begins his fourth year coaching the Raven receiving corps. Coach Wrecke currently teaches Physical Education at Northwest. In addition Wrecke also serves as an assitant coach for the Raven's track and field and boy’s basketball teams. Justin brings considerable experience and knowledge to the Raven Football Staff. Previously, Coach Wrecke spent five years coaching football, basketball and track at Lawrence Free State High School (1998-2003). Coach Wrecke earned his Bachelor’s degree from Washburn University where he also played football (1994-97). As an Ichabod, Wrecke started 33 straight games at wide receiver. Justin, is currently working on master’s degree from Emporia State University. Coach Wrecke still plays football, starting for the Kansas Koyotes - a professional Arena Football team out of Topeka (KS). As wide receiver and team captain for the Koyotes, Wrecke played for the Koyotes in 2003 & 2004, winning back to back APFL championships. Formerly, Justin played for the Lincoln Capitals of the NIFL in 2002. A native of Hartland, Wisconsin, Wrecke was an All-Conference football, basketball and baseball player at Hartland Arrowhead High School. Justin also played in the Wisconsin Shrine Bowl. An All-State (WI) basketball player and played in the Wisconsin All-Star basketball game. Justin lives in Shawnee with his daughter, Jaiden (3).
